As the company did with other models, Maruti Suzuki new Wagon R was launched with number of new features. The new model looks much better than the current generation Wagon R. The new WagonR is of B Segment and will be powered by Bharat IV compliant 998cc KB series engine. The new KB series is exactly the same engine which powers the Maruti A-star. The engine generates 67PS (50KW) of maximum power at 6200rpm and 90Nm of maximum torque at 3500rpm. Apart from the new engine, the new WagonR will offer temptative changes both in exterior and in interior. The exterior changes include an all-new tall headlamp, new friendly front fascia, new tail lamps, doors; alloys/wheel covers design, steering wheel. On the interiors, it will get an all-new instrument panel including new door trims, automatic climate control system, new upholstery and new centre console design. A snazzier, dark interior with some nifty lighting is also available. The new dual tone interiors will help in boosting the sales of India’s 2nd largest selling car further. New WagonR will also come with ABS and airbags.
Maruti new Wagon R will be available in many light colors like a pink, gold, silver, purple, etc. It clearly includes women in its target audience, sporting a color palette loaded with the lighter solids and pastels. If you want to buy a new car in next 3-4 months, then I suggest waiting for the new wagon R Model, because it is said to be a perfect mode to cut through traffic. With a LPG kit in use, Maruti Wagon R is a better fuel option car when we compare it to the traditional fuel options.
