Evora Type 124 de competição

A versão de competição faz sua estréia nas 24 Horas de Nürburgring e depois vai para também nas 12 Horas de Sepang, na Malásia, e nos enduros de 24 horas de Dubai e Silverstone, na Inglaterra.
O motor do Evora é um 3.5 V6 Toyota que era “apenas” de 280 cv foi para 400 cv.

Lotus Exige em versão para as ruas

O Exige Cup 260 chama a tenção por trazer várias semelhanças do seu irmão das pistas como o defletor traseiro, a utilização de fibra de carbono no painéis e carroceria que o deixaram com apenas 890 kg.
O motor a gasolina tem 1,8 litros com 260 cavalos que o levam de 0 a 100 km/h em 4,1 segundos chagando a velocidade máxima de 245 km/h.
Exige Cup 260 também trouxe das pistas o controle de tração e sistema Launch Control, tem ainda bancos esportivos em carbono homologados pela FIA, cintos de três pontos e uma pré-preparação do chassis para a instalação de um roll bar.
O valor fica em 52.899 euros.

Lotus cravejada de diamantes
Um Lotus por si só já é uma jóia mas em com
emoração do 60º aniversário, a Lotus fez uma customização um de seus modelos com pintura ultrabrilhante, couro da mais alta qualidade e diamantes. A montadora fez uma parceria com a empresa especialista em jóias, Winsor Bishop, e cravejou um Lotus Europa com várias pedras preciosas avaliadas em US$ 196,5 mil mais caros que o valor do próprio esportivo, que é vendido na Europa por US$ 70 mil.
Os diamantes estão no painel de instrumentos, alavanca de câmbio,
botões do painel, retrovisores e, claro no capô. O painel recebeu iluminação especial de LEDs para ressaltar o brilho dos diamantes.
O Lotus Europa especial está avaliado em US$ 266,5 mil e poderá ser visto em exposições comemorativas da marca inglesa. Mas, como todo cuidado é pouco, inclusive na Europa, o modelo exposto terá réplicas das pedras no lugar dos diamantes verdadeiros.

Lotus Eco Elise feito com Cannabis
O carro também foi produzido para ter o menor peso possível e reduzir o consumo de combustível e, por conseqüência, a emissão de poluentes.
Segundo a Lotus, a energia gasta para produzir o Eco Elise foi planejada para sempre pensar no que a empresa chamou de os "três Rs": reduzir, reutilizar e reciclar.
"Os valores da Lotus de carros leves, eficientes em termos de combustível, mas com alta performance hoje são muito relevantes. Estamos preparados para assegurar a posição que a montadora e seus produtos são éticos", disse Mike Kimberley, CEO da companhia.
O Eco Elise pesa 32 kg a menos que o Elise S. Os materiais ecológicos utilizados para o desenvolvimento do novo veículo foram, segundo a Lotus, estudados para garantir que as tecnologias reduziriam os impactos na natureza.
O carro será apresentado ao público durante o Salão do Automóvel do Reino Unido, que ocorre entre os dias 23 de julho e 3 de agosto.
